These gloves will NOT last long but that's ok. They are more than enough to protect me from the thorny tendrils I pulled with rake, shovel, spade and hands. I've worn 2 pairs already, mainly on the knuckle of the thumb and forefinger due to the rake and shovel work, but I haven't been spiked yet as I have with other and more expensive gloves.
