Not as long as I expected. I have a 90 year old relative who keeps breaking charging tips. With this charger, the tip is still okay, but the cable is kinked. I use duct tape to hold the cord in place and hope it charges overnight outside the return window or would return. I'm still looking for the perfect Kindle charger. Sigh.
