Great sound quality, great fit

I've had more earbuds than I can count. I won't even try. I'm usually very disappointed in some aspects. My favorite wireless pair was made by Sony with "Extra Bass". I like a strong butt, so to speak. Anyway, I've destroyed a few pairs from running and sweating profusely. They just can't handle all the water I produce. My last pair was a JBL kit which sounded great and was never affected by my sweat. They died a few days ago and now I've found them. Anker is a good brand and their products have always been of good quality. With so many good reviews and a very reasonable price, I decided to give them a try. I've learned that speakers and headphones have a "break-in period" and usually sound better after you've used them for a while. They sound great out of the box. Seriously, they sound as good as the best I've ever had. And I'm very critical of the sound quality. The only complaint I have, and it's not really a complaint, is that they're definitely bass-heavy. I like it, but some might want a flatter sound. Apart from the strong bass (which I like), the mids and highs sound very balanced. Today I walked with them for an hour. They stayed in my ears with no problems. I didn't use any of the extra earpieces that are on the outside of the earbuds to better hold them in my ears I believe. They were strong and solid and I never worried about them falling out my entire run. Can't tell if they can handle my sweat yet, but if they can't I'll definitely update this review. If you don't see any updates, they're good. I read several reviews complaining about the lack of bass. You can't with these. In-ear headphones need to fit snugly against the ear or the bass will disappear. This is true of all the "in-ear" headphones I've had. So when someone says they don't have bass, it's because it doesn't fit properly in my ears. I use the largest rubber ear tips to ensure all air gaps are closed, which also blocks any outside noise. They don't cancel out noise, but they do block it when properly seated in your ears. When I was 20, my ears were the smallest ever. Small ears. Now that I'm in my 50's my ears are bigger. Why do ears grow with age? Having normal sized ears now I would definitely expect anyone with normal sized ears to have no problem finding the right fit. That's all I have. I love her. Great price and great buy. Update: Just wanted to add that I tested these using YouTube on my phone and the audio synced well with the video. I saw another reviewer complain about the audio being out of sync. Maybe they have an old device with an old Bluetooth radio (my phone is a Galaxy Note 9) or some other reason. I unplugged my headphones and turned on the speakers on my phone and the audio synced exactly as it did when using the headphones. As far as I can tell, the wireless connection didn't add any latency. I just walked around the house with the phone in the far corner and not once did my headphones turn off. I've never been able to walk that far from my phone and still get a connection. My house is small, but no Bluetooth receiver has ever had a reliable connection more than halfway across my house. I think it has to do with the latest Bluethooth technology, but the fact that these headphones go that far is just amazing. Okay, so I haven't found any complaints about these headphones yet. The only thing I see as a problem is reliability because I don't have long experience and they can handle my huge amounts of sweat? The time will show. I will update this review if they fail. Cool at the moment. Big fan.
