Hi Output CFL Blacklights (if you have good ones)

super bright while they were working but unfortunately it only lasted about 10 minutes before they both stopped working. The base became very HOT and then began to give off toxic odors. Secured and ready to be returned by UPS. Update: Changed from 1 star to 4 stars after receiving a replacement and changing location and mounting type. They need open mounting sockets that keep them warm. Update 2: Changed from 4 stars to 3 stars as I had another hit even though the airbase was open. This makes me think their quality control is not up to par. Traded them in for another pair and fingers crossed. I've compared them to Sleek Lighting's 23w black CFL bulbs which appear high quality but only produce half the light intensity of these Bluex bulbs. Update 3: I really wanted to please but the final replacements took about 30 minutes before the smoke went. I leave my rating at 2 stars.
