I have dark eyelashes and can't see. I ran it over my eyebrows and very thin dots appeared here and there. If I buy something shiny or glittery, subtle is not my thing. The spool is great - a good slim size which I like. I'll take one of their colored mascaras (maybe copper) and see how it goes.
