Don't listen to bad reviews. That's great! No, you can't stand on it. No, they will not bear the weight of a child. Yes, they store shoes in a clear and easily accessible place. And they're inexpensive. Throw out your cardboard shoeboxes and grab them so you (or your wife) can actually wear the shoes you have. I ordered 100 pieces and after playing around with the first few it took me about 45 seconds to assemble each one. They unexpectedly snap together with a satisfying "click". If you have trouble compiling the first one, just try the next one. Look for 4 cones. You want them all pointing to the same side for stacking. I am attaching some photos. Robust front frame and strong rear frame. The walls are thin plastic but I have 11 of them in my closet (full of shoes) and all the doors open well. No problem. They will not mount side by side and the 4 stacking tabs on top will not snap/lock together. Yes, and the lines on the front door can be confusing. Pretty much everything opens except for the solid, solid white plastic frame, not just the rounded, double-lined rectangle on the see-through front door (I hope that's not too confusing). Successful organization!
