I was looking for a fine sterling silver chain with a secure clasp. I received a 16" 1mm lobster clasp chain and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the chain. I ordered one just a few days ago which was clearly not sterling. The 16" chain is slightly longer than that choker, and while I like it, I just ordered the 18" chain, which would probably go better with this cameo. Don't worry about the length of the chain, as one reviewer said, because you can easily measure and order accordingly.I knew the 16" chain would be short, I just didn't know what I wanted. (A 16" chain is slightly longer than the collar, an 18" chain is slightly closer to the sternum.) 1mm would be very thin. So go for 1.5 if you want something stronger. Either way, it's a great price and I can always use more silver chains.
