I really like this style of bath scrubby - just enough "scrub" to exfoliate dead/dry skin off in the shower, but not so harsh as to hurt my skin. My last one that was similar to these, the center that held it together must have lost elasticity or something because it started coming apart. Lucky for me I have these three! It has been so long since I had to replace last scrubby I'm not sure what I paid for the previous ones. For the price, I'd say $2 to $3 each is okay - not cheap, but not too expensive - so I feel I did get what they are worth. What I have a problem with is calling them "natural loofah" when it is NOT a loofah! Loofah is the left-over, tough and fibrous cellular structure of a giant cousin to an edible green (summer) squash! I should know - I've grown them many, many times. The best loofahs come from the "fruit" that gets about the size of a baseball bat. Clip it off the vine, boil it in a big pot (cut if needed) and all the interior will boil out, the outer skin will fall off and what's left is that brownish-beige fibrous tissue. Cut them into hand size rounds, lay them out in the sun for a few days and then store the dried loofah sponges for use in the bath/shower. Because they are the REAL "natural" loofah, after a few uses, they should be thrown away. But having explained what (and how to "make" one) a true loofah is, I am really not happy with this posting as it is falsely advertising this scrubby as a natural product which it is NOT and which is probably made of some sort of polyurethane (plastic). Other than that, I do like this type of scrubby and that is the term I would label these as - SCRUBBIES.
