They do their job. A while ago I bought a set of these lamps for our other TV (55 inch) and I really like them. So when we bought a new TV, I had to buy another set. But since our new TV is so much bigger (65 inches), I had to find a different brand than what I had previously bought. Enter the Hamlite set. They were very easy to install and the corner connectors are nice and strong so there is no risk of breakage like other sets. Now when I compare the Hamlite set to my previous set, there are a few things I don't like. Firstly, the price was twice what I paid for the set for my 55 inch TV. It would suit me if they worked just as well. Second, our favorite setting is the one that cycles through all colors continuously. This is the only setting we use on both of our TVs. The transition isn't as smooth as my other TV, no matter what settings we adjust. It's not so bad that I don't want to use them, but at certain points it becomes noticeable and annoying. Third, it's a bit annoying that they don't turn on and off with the TV. Again what we are used to from our previous kit. Since the bulbs are already glued on my TV, replacing them isn't worth it, but if I'd known about these flaws before buying, I would have opted for a different set. color transition.
