This is a very good anti-leak mat for the price. I use it on house calls when doing minor engine repairs. This protects customers' driveway from accidental oil or fuel spills. In addition, customers like to see that you are careful not to spill anything on their property. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I've had several over the years and this is by far the best I've personally owned. The back is made of a rubber-like material to prevent liquid leakage. It folds up nicely and compactly to fit almost any space. Yes, you can buy carpet scraps for a lot less and just use them, but the oil or fuel will seep right through the carpet onto the concrete or surface you're working on, defeating the entire purpose of an oil slick.
