Looks like they have quality control issues and poor design of this closure. When I removed the blue tape from the clasp, the parts holding the mechanism closed just fell apart. Upon inspection, a metal plate had been soldered to the corners to hold the slide knobs, but the soldered joints were completely loose, completely destroying the entire mechanism. Poor quality control due to bad solder joints. It's bad design to depend on four tiny bits of solder to hold it in place.
