First of all, the price really can't be beat. OEM bulbs are around $300. If this one dies after 600 hours it's still worth buying 6 of these for the price of the original bulb. The brightness is excellent. Appears to be a good quality bulb. The only downside is that now my Panasonic PT-AX100u sometimes won't turn on and flashes a red light. If I turn off the power and just turn it back on, it works. This has happened to me 5 or 6 times in the last few months that I have owned the lamp. I will update this later if it expires early or alternatively lasts 3000 hours. =)* Update: 3000 hours and still valid! I had to reset the lamp replacement indicator! Updated rating to 5 stars!
