I was interested in this camera as a fun little gadget for my kids to use in the pool this summer as I liked it for its ease of use and Polaroid proven performance brand name. The camera seems to work well out of the water. But the first time we used it in a shallow pool and didn't submerge it more than 3 feet, it immediately took on water and stopped working. We tried drying it but to no avail. I sent it back for a refund. I know that some buyers say it works well underwater, while others say it dies very quickly on them as well, like my unit did. All I can say is beware buyers.
