I used this to organize my suitcase. Items that I carefully placed in the cubes did not compress as much as the types of suction that require a vacuum hose. They squeezed enough to make it worth it. They also made the suitcase more organized. Small items such as socks, underwear and bras can be folded into a relatively small bag. This makes it easier to see what you have there. When it's time to go home, laundry is folded into handy cubes separate from clean clothes. They are worth the money and hopefully last a long time.
