Not all are nickel free.
Grey/silver colored clasps appear to be nickel plated. This is disappointing as most copper base alloys tarnish quickly. At least half of the fasteners are usable, but I don't know how long they will last. I think most companies have no idea what metals the parts are made from as I have seen reputable shops label products as nickel free when the product clearly contains nickel.
