Sleeping bag Cuddly toy

With three imaginative colleagues, I tend to build up a "collection" of toys. This proximity in age means that we go through toy "themes". One year it was the Thomas train, another year it was Lego etc. One year it was the FAO Schwartz Plush Year. These are highly detailed stuffed animals and as boys are boys this was a huge draw for Christmas this year. Especially after Nana found out! Toys R Us made a deal with BOGO so I ended up with a massive batch of stuffed animals. "Zoo" just doesn't quite describe it. Fast forward a few years and these things, while still in great condition, can create a nightmare scenario in the bedroom. I keep asking if we might consider giving them to a new family, but they are "special" to them. My youngest boy is only 5 years old so he is still actively playing with them. Take these things! My god, that's them. I needed a manageable solution to these things that didn't involve a bathtub (tried and failed) or a trellis (seriously - with little crazy kids?). Pros: - It's a canvas, but a soft canvas. Don't think canvas is "military tough". It is actually a soft cotton canvas. It's very durable and I think it will hold up well to washing. Also, I think he really can survive 3 boys! - The stitching is well done. - Huge flash. Seriously, it's huge and big enough to easily accommodate all those big beasts. High quality flash. Since I sew a lot, it was immediately clear to me that this zipper is a good choice for this product. It really becomes a "chair". Of course, the children sat down first and rolled in it. Luckily they were fed up. I doubt they continue to do so. - Kids can easily manipulate the zipper to get their toys, and more importantly, get them back! - Awkward containment. It really can't be overestimated. If you have a lot of stuffed animals and don't know what to do, this is the solution you have been looking for. Price. Going back to the sewing example, I doubt I could have bought the material and zipper at a better price and done this project myself. That's pretty much in line with my sewing/stapling skills, but a quick cost comparison will show that's a good deal. They didn't add much to the price compared to the cost of materials. Cons: - To be honest I don't see them yet. I'll update if one comes up.
