So I decided to write a review now because I actually left this camera after a year of use. The Canon T6i was the best entry-level DSLR I could start with. This camera helped me fall in love with photography and is capable of creating truly amazing images. In terms of photography, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get a camera to learn how to take good pictures. There's no video, which is a real disappointment considering this camera is a year old. It records 30 fps in 1080, but if you want a good slow motion video you'll need to lower the resolution to 720 to get 60 fps. It was a bit annoying to be so limited when I was dying to get a video of the location or when I was exploring the area. If you want to shoot YouTube videos, make movies or have a camera to record a vlog, I would suggest you something else (Sony a6300, a6500 or GH4). Overall this is a solid, reliable and patient camera for the student. Something I would highly recommend to anyone. If you want to record any video with this camera, you will get a clean standard 1080 HD picture. However, I would point you to the betting cam if you want to do something different with your video.
