I began to despise these hangers and finally got rid of them. On the plus side, the clips that hold the clothes are nice and strong. However, there are disadvantages that outweigh any advantages. The upper edges of the clip are made of sharp-edged metal. Very sharp. I cut my fingertips several times trying to SEPARATE them. The hook on the hanger still sticks out and sticks to other hangers. Dress. Even hanging vertically, they were the wreck of a train. If I had a roomy closet where they could be separated from each other and from other hangers or clothing items, maybe they wouldn't be such a problem. But I don't have a big closet so I bought them. I fought with them for two long years, and when I cut my finger trying to unbutton clothes from a hanger that was on another hanger (and bleeding trying to pull it out of the closet) , I had it. Removed everything until the end. The hooks protrude so far that they take up space in the width of the cabinet surface. Hanging vertically takes up less overall width, of course, but hanging more than three times is also ridiculously bad.
