I tend to think of it as a hydrating sunscreen rather than an SPF moisturizer. Because it's oil-free, it's not super hydrating, but hydrating (contains several good moisturizing ingredients to increase hydration, like aloe, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol). It's a bit thick and takes some time to spread on the skin - this is due to non-nano zinc oxide, which is my favorite sunscreen for my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin.
