I've been looking for a good bedside sensor lamp for a while and while this thing is adorable as hell and I love it I can tell you it definitely is not the right thing. Looking at photos, videos, and comments complaining about how bright it seems, I had some hope that it really was a bit bright. Not in the sense that it illuminates the entire room, but just enough to at least illuminate the area around my bedside table or be bright enough to read. It definitely isn't. As you can see from the picture, it barely illuminates the area around it. It creates a low enough ambient light for me to navigate my room at night, so it's definitely a "night light," but no more than that. No. This alone was disappointing (but not the product's fault as it is actually described as a night light) and again the photos cannot show everything. The white light that appears pretty white in photos is actually very yellow. I know it's described as a warm light, but it's a VERY warm light that I don't really like. There is a light between white and blue that comes after red, which is closer to what is shown in the pictures, but it also shines a little less. I know this all sounds like I should give it a lower rating, but the fact of the matter is that's exactly what it says it is. Warm white night light with RGB colors. And to that extent it works well and justifies itself. I can't blame him for any hopeful expectations I might have had. It's amazing, feels well made. It's easy to press, although it's extremely sensitive and turns on and off when you put it down etc. I think there are two models. One with a rounder base and fast-flashing RGB, and one with a flatter, broader base and slow-breathing colors. The ones I have, the colors breathe great and you can squeeze to hold if you like it. If you are looking for a cute night light or just a cute decoration for your room or something to navigate when the lights are off then this is a great purchase and I love it for that. If you're looking for a real lamp bright enough to see things elsewhere, alas. The only real downside I would give is that, as others have said, the charging port is on the bottom, which is annoying. It's also covered by a small lid that tends to push the charging cable out when plugged in. It's hard to get it to stay connected. I suspect removing the lid might help, but I haven't tried that as I'm not sure how necessary it is.
