I tore because I love the color of this belt. It actually goes really well with my brown Wolverine 1000 mile boots. Unfortunately, as others have pointed out, the chrome belt buckle has some sort of transparent protective coating that will chip off once you receive it. Once this coating breaks off, it leaves ugly marks.
