This trailer LED license plate light is great. It weathers fairly well if the trailer is left out in the rain or being towed (it's not designed to be fully submerged in water). This is the light that was originally installed on my aluminum ramp trailer. Unfortunately the inner reflector was bent and the lens cover was broken by the grandkids who used the flashlight as a kick to climb onto the trailer while playing! It wasn't the world's fault, it was my fault that my grandchildren were allowed to use the caravan as a 'stage'! The light is rubber mounted (at least on my trailer) so the light or license plate will not bend if something hits the rubber mount or license plate on the road. As I said, the light is awesome and works great (I replaced the original with the same light). It's just not good to be a STEP!
