Even at max volume this clock isn't that loud, it barely does the work you want it to do right away after your bed otherwise it doesn't even wake you up because the alarm clock or even the loudest setting is too quiet and you have to put a battery in it to keep the alarm clock on the time setting in the event of a power failure don't believe what it says on the packaging, there is no built-in battery, you have some Dimming settings so if it's too bright initially when you set it up you can dim it so it doesn't light up the whole bedroom. The snooze button isn't in the same place as the setup buttons so you don't accidentally hit the wrong button. You are on the back. Either put them next to you on your bedside table or across from a hard set with a speaker to that surface it makes it a little louder this company has been in business since 1888 they aren't bad alarm clocks but there are a lot louder ones out there They don't sleep well and you have very sensitive ears than this watch is for you this is just a buzzer but most who have a radio still don't pick up radio very well.
