Honestly the reviews scared me but I took a chance and bought it anyway. It arrived in 3 parts and was easy to assemble. Not as big as I thought, but that's ok. I didn't get the only shot I was looking for (that 'pure' sunset shot that's going viral), but I still like the other shots I found out. It shines very brightly in dark conditions, not so much in dimly lit conditions. I haven't used it for more than 10-15 minutes, so I can't comment on how quickly it overheats (a popular criticism I've read in reviews). The legs/stands are very adjustable but I recommend playing with the part that holds the actual lamp before installing because if it is not adjusted properly the entire structure will tip over. Overall it wasn't 100% what I was looking for but I'm happy with this purchase. I'd recommend trying it out so you can at least get an idea of what kind of lamp you're actually looking for.
