It doesn't have any blinding lights, just a soft blue glow in the sound settings. Not only does it come with a USB cable, it also comes with a charging box, usually electronics etc come with a cable only, so it was appreciated. . It fits in my hand and has 4 rubber feet to keep it from sliding off the shelf. It has 6 categories, Fan, Frequency, Forest, Ocean, Rain, Heartbeat. There is something for everyone. I believe there are 5 different sounds to choose from in each category. It's very easy to understand and use. No need to press the buttons hard, it even has a headphone jack. Its height is 2 3/4 inches, the width of the base is almost 4 1/2 inches. It's small enough to travel with you, the only downside I can find is the length of the cord, it's 39 inches long so short but can be controlled with an extension cord if needed. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it, in my opinion, it has 30 different sounds to choose from, which is more than other comparable machines. I can recommend it 100%.
