Too big for my drink holder. Broken.

I've tried putting this in my cup holder but my cup holders are small? I tried to bend it and push it in, but it broke with the effort. I don't know, maybe it's my fault for going the wrong size, but I don't recall seeing anything in the description that said it was for a specific cup holder size.
