Review on TeckNet Portable Wireless Receiver Adjustment by Michael Gonzales

I've been using this for about six months now and have had a great experience so far. If you want a cheap wireless mouse (or any wireless mouse at all) then this is a very good option. Later in this review I will talk about some very specific things and it can get very long and technical so be aware. Watch this video for a demo: [.] BASIC BUTTONS: The left, right, and center buttons are regular mouse-style buttons: Small rectangular buttons with a good click but don't require too much force to press. They are similar to regular mouse buttons used by almost all mice these days. The main thing is that the middle mouse button uses this style of button, which is nice since most mice use a tactile switch instead that requires more effort and doesn't always activate when the button is pressed. By the way, it's a tactile switch: [.] The main buttons are fine. In fact, the only problem is that the force required to hold them is much less than that required to propel them. This makes it a bit harder to press quickly, as you might just be pressing the button once and then all your other moves will just be holding the button, rather than releasing and activating it again. I can't think of a succinct way to say this, but it's not too much of a problem and I'm already used to it. The back-forward buttons are the little tactile switches I mentioned earlier, but they feel very nice, so that's not an issue. PERSECUTION. Tracking with this mouse is very convenient; So far I haven't had any issues and have played several games that require precise mouse movement. I wasn't as good as usual, but that's only because the mouse is new and I need to get used to it. When I have the mouse sensor on the left, my mouse movement style is much better than on mice where it is on the right. It places the sensor closer to the thumb, so "twisting" the mouse clockwise raises the cursor and makes the movement more precise for me. He's in the right place. MOUSE WHEEL: The ratchet on the mouse wheel is pretty well defined, but it's not the best mouse wheel I've used; It's definitely better than the cheap Logitech wireless mice I've used before and they look very premium. I haven't clicked the ratchet in the new position yet, but the computer thinks it's between the two positions. It's when you're scrolling and the scrolling jumps around a bit because the computer thinks you're switching between two different positions, even though your mouse wheel is physically fine. That doesn't happen with this mouse anyway, so hooray! However, the wheel is slightly lower than most mice. The top of the wheel is closer in height to the rest of the mouse than most mice. But then again, I got used to it very quickly and it's a very useful scroll wheel. INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION / DISASSEMBLY: Of course I had to disassemble the thing immediately to see what was inside. The screws are located under the two back plates and I found the best way to get to them was to use a utility knife or similar to cut a slot where the screw is located and then poke a screwdriver through it to remove the screws. . Then the mouse can fall apart. Once inside I noticed that the scroll wheel position sensor is a potentiometer (maybe it could be a rotary encoder) and not the infrared sensor used in my other cheap mice. I don't know if that's better, but it seems so. Aside from that the board looks a bit cheap but it gets the job done and all the components are standard sizes so you can swap out the buttons later if you want (which I could do). USING MY EXTRA BUTTONS: I downloaded this little program to remap some buttons on this mouse: https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmousebuttoncontrol.htm Use them as function buttons that activate specific control profiles. For example, if I hold down the forward key, the rest of the mouse controls are assigned to perform actions like CTRL+C, CTRL+V, ALT+TAB, Tilt Wheel Left, and Tilt Wheel Right. If I hold down the back button, I can press CTRL+TAB, launch Firefox, launch calculator, CTRL+scroll to zoom in, and CTRL+scroll to zoom out. And all without even touching my keyboard! It's nice to have a few extra buttons available. Overall verdict: A great mouse for the price, which I would definitely recommend.
