when you're on looking for the basics. then there are cheaper options. If you want the best of the best, this is it. I wanted something better than the basic K cups on the market. it may not only taste better, but more monastic, easier to use, and generally what I want to use. it ticked all the boxes. Does coffee taste better? Okay, I've never made a cappuccino, frappuccino, iced coffee more delicious at my house with the barcode system on Nespresso mugs and the included milk frother. Easier to use? Yes. Unlike K-cups, which give the user a choice of small, medium, and large cups, these Nespresso cups are custom-made for the desired coffee size. Of course, you lose the added benefit of size control, but you end up with a better-tasting coffee. And frankly, the fewer decisions I have to make in the morning, the better. In addition, the cups are automatically disposed of in the machine. Each time you open the latch, the Nespresso cups automatically fall into the basket at the back of the machine, so you can just pop in the next one. The bin is easy to remove and you can recycle the cups. After all, that's what I really want to use. I don't have to struggle with grinding coffee beans, measuring the right amount, wondering where to put the grounds, frothing the milk properly by hand, having a separate espresso-only machine, cleaning all the cups and tools that go with it are required after that, BLAH. I wake up, put the cup in the machine, pour the milk into the frother, press 2 buttons and that's it. Just rinse the foam with water right after and that's it, it's ready for the next use.
