I just realized I screwed up buying a mattress online. Especially the one that was all foam, I've only had one nib with a memory foam topper in the last 10 years. In the first few seconds after opening I expected an odor as mentioned only in bad reviews but I didn't smell anything. Then I buried my face in it and breathed in, *barely* smelling it. Since then he's gone. 3 sleepless nights, my friend said it was just me or it was too hard and he was right. We continued to sleep on it and this time woke up with no pain. After a week we wonder if the mattress has gotten softer or if we just got used to it. Personally I find it has softened, I hope it doesn't wear out in a short time (no signs of that yet). But the craziest thing is that I COMPLETELY STOP snoring. He informed me that I was sawing logs at night and said that I haven't snored since we got this mattress. Pros: I wake up with no pain (I have multiple sclerosis, so that's saying a lot). stopped snoring. (I think) it gets softer/harder, you get used to it within a week. I couldn't detect any odor (the package was SO dented, but it didn't affect the quality of the mattress). Dared and carried it up the stairs, we just had to carry it. I find it really cool, my boyfriend usually sweats all night and it has eased off a bit. Cons: It may be too heavy for some people. My friend and I are not small people, so in the dream we drown in foam. I would say that this mattress is just firm, nothing more, nothing less. This is the internet, you risk everything you buy if you don't do your research properly!
