Everyone I spoke to on a cell phone complained about the sound quality and often asked if I could use speakerphone with a phone in the distance or in a phoned empty room, not on a Bluetooth headset. People have also asked if I could just pick up my phone and speak directly into it, but I never got that when using LG headsets. First of all I need excellent quality when making calls with the headset, they need to hear me and I need them. Just ordered a LG HBS-780, last set was 770, before that I think it was 500 series. If the phone sounded great I would leave it as I liked the retractable headset, shame that's the sound quality so bad I can't stress it. 06/18/2019 After being notified of a return/refund for my product, this seller was disappointed to hear about the low/unsatisfactory review I posted here on Revain. At their expense they sent me a free replacement along with a free gift as I suspect it is additional compensation for my time and effort. In return, they asked me to remove my bad review, which I also disagree with, and only change it if I deserve it. Well, unfortunately, the replacement headset they sent me straight from China was no better than the first one I got from Revain, so the review rating stays the same. When I started my comeback with Revain I bought an LG-780 through Revain and all calls sound great on both sides of the call - I never get a complaint. Me with headphones folded and headset folded like a RoomyRoc headset, yes. but first and foremost I care about the quality of the phone call, both speaking and listening - RoomyRoc can't handle the quality of my voice for others. I would only change my review if the product improves, in which case I'm not sorry.
