I was tired of boots getting snow into my baby feet, and playing with snow was interrupted by shouts of "I've got snow in my boots!". Since I bought them and my daughter has been wearing them (for 2 winters), no complaints! She loves them and so far they have kept her feet dry, warm and comfortable. Drawstring closure keeps snow out and keeps you warm. I bought a size up so I can wear thicker socks and wear them extra. But rarely does my daughter want to wear thick socks and they were still warm and comfortable. The wool lining on the inside is very thick so that should work. Removable lining. They are great as rubber boots as the rubber extends to the ankle. Versatile boot in good quality!
