I had low expectations after reading the reviews but this was a gift for a 5 year old Sofia fan who tends to lose and break. things are simple. It's been a week since Christmas and she's still happy. Looks just like the picture and is packed in a hard-to-open gift box. The clasp holding the pendant broke once but I managed to put it back together. The chain still holds. The purple "pearl" was scratched upon arrival, but she didn't seem to notice. Even if my expectations were low, I still think the price is too high for the quality. This necklace is a step or two above what you would win in an arcade game. The diamond portion that holds the gemstone is not solid on the back. The back of the gem is painted silver to make it look like a one-of-a-kind piece, but the color is already wearing off. Unfortunately, you can also see this from the front through the gemstone, which makes the scratches even more visible. I only give three stars because my daughter is still happy with her "amulet".
