These plastic disposable caps are great. They are thin what I was looking for. They are "cheap" but perfect for my 6 year old's hair care. Ideal for use under a heated gel cap wrapped in a hair towel, or alone to create some heat for deep conditioning by capping and leaving for 1-2 hours to allow your body heat to do its job . Then we use this hair towel wrapped around her head. The hair towel we have is not microfiber so I use these caps as a barrier. They also retain more heat, an extra layer when warmth is needed never hurts! We don't use it in the shower like a real shower cap, but haven't tried it yet. Not sure if this is effective at keeping water out of your hair when showering, but for our needs it's not a problem. Great hats for hair, I recommend to everyone!
