Having two USB-C ports (charging port and data port) is great

Product works fine as advertised. This is a third brand USB-C hub that I tried. Others are iKedon and HyperDrive. They all worked well, but I decided to keep these ones for two reasons. It had two USB-C ports so I could charge my iPad Pro while using an external hard drive. It also supports iPad Pro connection. . The mounting support is not wide enough to be used with iPad Pro cases. However, you can still use it if your cover is attached to your iPad Pro with magnets, like an Apple cover. You can insert a stand between the iPad Pro and the magnetic cover. If your cover completely covers the side frames, you cannot use the accessory. Your option would be to remove the mounting bracket from the hub and attach the hub to the iPad. They come from the hub. I had to try many hubs, Apple adapters, and cables to test the Blue Raspberry mic I used with the previous 2nd Gen iPad Pro. None of them worked including this hub. If you're looking to buy portable hubs to use with an external mic, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have Apogee or Sennheiser mics. According to the Apple service reps I spoke to, only Apogee and Sennheiser microphones are compatible via the USB-C connector. Some YouTube videos claim that the Blue Yeti works with a powered hub, but none of them exist which hub they are using.
