Review on BA15S 1156 80 SMD Latest 2835 LED 1141 1003 Interior Light Bulbs Turn Signal Backup Reverse (10-Packs by Jeffrey Mosqueda

Ordered 10 pack. I've only tried 5-6 bulbs but they all worked fine. They look flimsy but I dropped one and had to plug the other into an old rusty outlet - both held up and worked as expected. They are therefore more durable than you would expect at first sight. As you can see from the photos, they are definitely "whiter" than incandescent bulbs (the 120v light on the right with the glass dome for reference) - almost to the blue point. It's definitely not that "warm and welcoming" but sometimes a more true white color can be really nice, depending on your needs. I would say the light has gotten brighter, but not by much. I would say maybe 25-50% brighter. I also noticed how much colder these lamps are. I checked the temperature of the same fixture after several hours of incandescent and LED (with a translucent cover). As you can see the LEDs don't get that hot. Lamps naturally heat up (over 200°), but still not as much as incandescent lamps, which can heat up to 300°. Their main advantage is, of course, lower power consumption. Incandescent bulbs draw 1.5 amps (at 12 volts) and LEDs draw 0.25 amps. So if you only use light, theoretically your battery will last 6 times longer when using LEDs. The upgrade was worth it for that alone.
