Review on 🌿 Safety 1st Happy Space Play Yard: Ultimate Safety and Fun in Brickway Green by Kimberly Choi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Functional, attractive playground

This is our fourth playground - I never thought I would have so many, but I also never thought we would be grandparents to so many children. Surprisingly, the most expensive playground (Chicco) turned out to be our worst choice. The rails broke after a few months, although they were rarely used. This Safety 1st Happy Space playground falls somewhere in between - it doesn't have all the features that some luxury models have, but not everyone wants or needs them. I love the size and oval shape of this playground. Its mattress measures slightly smaller (32" long x 26" wide) than the three other brands of playmats we have, and the slats don't feel as firm. I wonder if they are all made of wood? However, the top layer of the mattress is softer than some of the others. I don't really care because I use the Dream On Me 3 Foam Play Yard Mattress in all of them. This mattress also works well for this playground (on the included mattress) and because the footprint is a bit smaller...it there are no gaps on the sides where the Dream On Me mattress connects to the mesh. I also like the angle of the legs - it provides a firm base and a more secure environment. And the rail locks work every time. Of the four that do we own, these and the Ingenuity brand open and close safely. Anyone who has dealt with unpredictable rails knows what a headache they can cause. Most importantly, kids love to sleep and play in this playground. It's lightweight , easy to pack and comes with a holdall Photos showing gender are included - Confetti Blue style neutral colors Love the grey/blue color scheme our Ingenuity model is machine washable, had to be machine washed for all games Construction sites - spot cleaning has always sufficed. Also included is a photo of the play area's rounded edges around the top rails and its rounded legs. For comparison, I put the Happy Space mattress (it's greenish-yellow) on top of another playground mattress. As you can see, it's a bit smaller. The next photo shows how it fits into the play area and the last photo shows how snug the Dream on Me mattress fits in (this photo is with sheets).

Pros
