I really liked the style of this hood but was very disappointed that the hood portion of the panel was about 5 or 6 inches shorter than the bottom portion of the vest, that's how it looks very dumb. It's not what the pictures show. The zippers are also so crappy gold instead of the silver pictured. But I always have to wear them buttoned up so that the unequal length of the hood insert is not visible. It is very good that part of the hood can be removed. You get what you pay for but be aware it may not be as pictured.
