I got this for running in the weird in-between weather that is NorCal winter: not cold enough to wear a full long sleeve jacket for running, but definitely not warm enough just for that for one shift. The jacket keeps the wind out which is great (especially the high collar that protects my neck from the cold wind). However, it's breathable and lightweight, almost doesn't feel like an extra layer, and weighs you down as you run without making me sweat unnecessarily. This is really what I was looking for. In fact, I immediately ordered a second one.
