I love this curler! For such a large instrument, it's surprisingly not heavy at all. The iron heats up quickly even at high temperatures. I have fine medium length hair below my shoulders and it only takes me about 15 minutes to curl my hair. I apply some hairspray and the waves last all day and all day! Perfect mermaid hair as my friend says lol. The heat could have been hotter to make it incredibly awesome but for the price and the finishing touch you get with this tool I think it's worth it! A thermal protective glove is also a good addition. If you have thicker hair I would suggest just holding the flat iron a little longer to ensure the wave is locked in place.
