I invested a lot of money and time to get my XPS 13 9370 and I wanted to protect that investment. I found this product after looking at what people are buying to protect their own XPS 13 and so far I really like it for the price! It works as promised. I've wavered between black and clear and I'm glad I went with clear. Clear lets you display the Dell logo on the front and doesn't detract from the sleekness and looks of the laptop (part of why I got it). that in the first place). First off, I really like the simplicity of the Insta location. As for the top, I attached the product to the top of my laptop (the part that faces you when you open the laptop) and secured it with two very handy latches at the bottom. If you're worried about the gunshots leaving any marks, don't worry, there aren't (I shot them a few times to be sure). Removal can be difficult, but it is not difficult. The first image shows what the clear film looks like on the silver XPS 13 9370 (not the 2-in-1 model). I like that it doesn't sit on the screen bezel (see second picture) and snaps in halfway. It stays pulled down. And it feels pretty safe. It also doesn't add as much volume as I feared. I was actually pretty happy with the protection the top offered and was willing to leave it as is without the bottom (if they offered the top for half the price). price, I'd take it anyway), but I had to try anyway. Like the top, the bottom was easy to install. I untied it up to the part facing me and flicked them backwards (where the crease is). Most of the time I was fine with the floor. I've seen where the "missing" grip rubber a previous reviewer talked about might be, but the two sticky bottoms in the area closest to me provide just enough grip to keep the laptop from dropping slips everywhere, even if you have them. supported by small stands. Speaking of coasters, they seem flimsy at first glance. But unless you have an overly heavy hand, I think they should be good enough for typing, and it improves typing position when cradles are used. Now for the part of the header that said I could do without the bottom stand. Upon closer inspection and feel, I found that the bottom latch, which is closest to you at the bottom edge, prevents the screen from closing completely. See the fourth picture. When closed, there is a small gap between the screen and the rest of the case. It also "rubs" (maybe not the best word to describe it, but this review is so long) into the carbon fiber, and I'm a little worried that it might dig into the material later and leave marks . . The laptop also doesn't sit flush with the bottom. But as I write this review, I like coasters more and more as they are more convenient to type on. Maybe I'll try to get those bars out somehow. Maybe grind or melt down. Overall, I really recommend this product, especially for the price. It is good to protect against scratches and light abrasions. Deducting a star for the bottom latch that prevents the laptop from closing. Hope this review helps!
