I've heard of tongue scrapers for a long time but never tried them. I've always used my Sonicare or Waterpik electric toothbrush for tongue cleaning and figured those expensive tools would work best. NOT CORRECT! These tongue scrapers leave your tongue cleaner and smoother and fight bad breath much better than brushing with a single brush. Two of us tried tongue scrapers and were both thrilled with the results. Fair warning: When you first use it, it's hard not to say "Eww!". when you see how much more dirt (sorry, there is no more polite word for that) these scrapers remove from your tongue than your toothbrush. And they're a lot softer on your tongue. I personally like the U-shaped scraper for cleaning the entire tongue, but the spoon-shaped scraper is useful for hard-to-reach areas, so I think the combo pack is a good deal for a little extra. Just be *careful* (especially in the beginning) - there's really no need to press hard. These scrapers aren't high tech - they're just stainless steel tools - but seriously, they work better. than any high-tech gadget I've tried. The quality of these scrapers seems to be very good; They're firm but not heavy and wash out in two seconds. Matching hooks (attached to self-adhesive stickers for hanging on tiles or wall) are a good addition to the package. Highly recommended.
