I love so many things about satin. I love its silky feel. It’s sheen. The way it flows and drapes. I love the way it takes color and gives it a depth only it can.I do not love how satin is like paparazzi, always just waiting there to show the world all of your flaws. You had either better be in fantastic shape or with someone who REALLY loves you if you are going to brave wearing this material. It will show lumps where you didn’t even know you had a body part. Satin is not for the faint of heart.All of that being said, and because I have the world’s best husband, I ordered this set. Or is it twenty? You can wear these in any top/bottom combo to suit your comfort needs at the time. Satin is wonderful against the skin, and quite warm. And so dang comfortable to sleep in!This set washed without fading or other issues. I hang dry all of my delicates, so wrinkles weren’t an issue, either. The seams are all tight with no loose or hanging threads, and the buttons securely attached. And the deep green emerald looks and shines like the gemstone of the same name.If you have never purchased satin before, please be aware it has NO GIVE. None. Zilch. Zero. Nada. If it is tight before you sit, it is going to rip when you do. Satin is very unforgiving. But, if you buy the correct size, and don’t try to force it to do something it isn’t capable of, this set will last you a long, long time, and through every season.Bottom line: this sexy, silky satin set is simply spectacular. Highly recommended.
