This is the sturdy lunch box we use for my son who goes to preschool. The plastic is strong and light enough for my 4 year old to open it by himself. It contained utensils (spoon, fork) and I think a sandwich knife. I haven't used a sandwich cutter and honestly don't intend to use one at this point. The utensils are easy enough for my son to use, but he also preferred using a spoon alone so we'll see if he uses it or not. In general, this is a simple and convenient system. I think the rooms are spacious. However, this size also gives the actual size of the lunch box. I didn't measure it to be honest, but it didn't fit in any full-size baby lunch box I had on hand. That's why I downgraded it by 1 star. While you can argue that you don't need a packed lunch when it already has everything, my son asked for his own packed lunch with the characters he wanted. Admittedly picky, but it's still an honest opinion of satisfaction. I would recommend this product for lunch or even cooking.
