Good product but read before you install

Opening this new set started off very well as it had an installation tool and even a tool to easily install and remove seals. It was also well packaged, with caps protecting the threads and items wrapped or boxed separately to avoid scratches. The insulation on the neck/bracket and hose worked well, but then started to degrade on the head. When initially installing and following the instructions I installed it with sand mesh caulk and it leaked. I took it apart and decided to add one of the spare gaskets to get a good seal. However, it leaked again on the second install. After taking it apart again, I noticed that the replacement pad cannot be used over the sand pad as it is squeezed into the grip. However, after placing the replacement pad under the wire mesh pad and then reassembling it, I found no leaks. Luckily there is a lot of tape included. Also, the flare nut that attaches to the bottom of the handle didn't have slots for easy installation, and I had to scrape it with a vise, even with mesh in between, to get it properly tightened. Now that it's leak free it looks and works fine except for a few scratches near the handle. I'm happy with this as I know it should never break/leak as now being metal it's not as easy to break - used to be plastic and fell off the other day and the plastic is in the handle which does that Outer casing and the water separates. cracked. got the throttle removed and usually has good water pressure and it's still not very strong but a lot of metal heads aren't as they can't usually have adjustments. I recommend.
