Review on JBL E55BT Quincy Edition Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with One-Button Remote and Mic - Rose Gold by Jason Regalado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Get them JBLs. in Headphones

Nice headphones and much less expensive than the Beats Studio 2.0 wireless headphones, although not as heavy as the Beats. The vocals/bass are not balanced on these JBLs as the vocals seem to be hidden under the bass and some tracks can sound a bit muddy. Clarity is mediocre, but for the price, you can't beat these headphones. And we all know that Beats headphones aren't, and just aren't meant to be, the industry standard. considered when purchasing headphones. I prefer Sennheiser headphones, although I've tried the Denon AH-MM400EM. And while the sound quality and clarity was second to none for the Denon, it was fairly light on the bass side, which just doesn't work for me as I need to "feel the music". A lot of rap runs through my ears. :-) Coming back to these JBLs, the dusty pink color is pretty trendy, and the wireless Bluetooth (although cables do come with these cans, so wired listening is also possible) for two devices makes it a worthwhile investment. On-ear headphones fit snugly around the ears, so adjustment may be needed after a while. These headphones lack noise-cancelling, but I did experience minimal interference from ambient noise. These headphones need a better, more protective carrying case, as this nylon case doesn't help. And be careful when transporting/storing these beauties as they do not fold. I really like them and look forward to taking them apart.
