Will not fit Thunderbolt Mac Monitor

Hooks will not fit Thunderbolt Mac monitor frame. I tried hanging it on the edge of the frame but it's stuck to the screen so much that everything is blurry and there are air bubbles on it. The Retina screen remains essentially unusable. I have returned the item.
