I needed a cheap projector for my grandkids and also for the family who watch movies in nature. My previous projector is about 20 years old and tedious to set up and finding the right lightbulbs is also getting harder and harder (we're rough on these things). I added a YouTube video to show how the image looks on my shop door (16ft x 8ft) and even with moving lights and streetlights it was bright enough at the 60% setting. What I liked: I didn't expect the sound to be so comfortable. While you can always benefit from a good soundbar, the built-in speakers were more than good for us, even at 50-65% settings. When the kids are talking/playing I have enough volume to turn the volume up. The HDMI picture is really very good and plays well from my laptop. I was actually at the image even without a dedicated screen and just projected it onto the door to check it out. I had a bit of an issue with wirelessly mirroring my Android screen (Note 8), but turning off and restarting the projector/phone fixed the issue. and connected several times after mirroring. It also connected perfectly to my daughter's iphone via a wired connection (I haven't tried wireless for IOS). I liked the home screen which details how to connect to the device. Saves the user from having to rummage around in the operating instructions. It was packaged very well and was shipped with no problems. What I didn't like: The lid wobbles a bit unless you push the focus all the way through. . A trifle, but you have to be careful or it will fall off. Pull out the lens before attaching the storage cap. I couldn't stream Netflix wirelessly from my phone. Upon investigation, this looks more like a copyright issue than a projector restriction. It ran flawlessly from my laptop/HDMI port. I just noticed that this question is actually answered in the Q&A, so I'm sorry I didn't read it all. It's manual focus/keystone but at this price point I can't fault the projector. The light goes out after switching off. You must turn off the device to turn off the LED on the control panel. I was very happy with this purchase. It was inexpensive and had a lot of features (most of which I won't use) but should help others out there. It was bright/clear/loud enough for my family when I was having movie nights outdoors and also for streaming pictures at family gatherings. It will be even better when I get a screen for it. In my opinion, the positive aspects of the projector far outweigh the small negatives. I would recommend it to others who don't need super expensive options.
