I bought this camera as an upgrade from my 3 year old 6MP Sony. It seemed tempting at first given the 12-megapixels, slim profile and touchscreen. Don't let the bling fool you. The image quality is abysmal and the autofocus leaves a lot to be desired. Unlike the iPhone, the touchscreen isn't made of hard plastic and gets scratched in your pocket. Close-ups show a lot of "noise" and almost all flash photos have a gray cast that the most advanced photo retouching cannot remove. Zeiss is probably turning in his grave knowing his name is on that camera. That would be great because it has a lot of handy camera features, but until the quality is right, they're not even worth mentioning.
