Lipstick case? Well, for a traditional-sized lipstick tube, that's fine. As for me, I don't mostly have traditional straws, mine are sometimes round (which makes them thicker) or taller - why do they sit so loosely in the tray because it has very low walls? How can I explain what I mean? Place a traditional tube of lipstick on the stain. it wobbles and tips over because the "sides" aren't high enough for stability. I would have preferred a lip gloss holder and had I seen one before ordering this tray I would have gone that route. I'm actually going to order one. I also think the lip gloss bowl can be used for mascara too! If you're like me, you have more than 1 mascara. I'll let you know how it works for me. Compact organizer? Again, you need to have powder compacts that are traditionally sized and shaped to fit snugly.
