Review on Experience Supreme Comfort with the SUPERIOR All-Season Luxurious Striped Down Alternative Comforter by Bob Trapp

Very nice duvet (best to use as a duvet cover)

(I'm talking double size) This is a good duvet. The filling is soft and fluffy and stuffed so you don't have to worry about it bunching up (I've experienced this with another duvet: Belle Epoque Faux Down Utopia Best Duvet, White , Twin ) The outer fabric is as described as Microfiber, but looks nothing like the matte microfiber that some microfiber bedding (which mimics cotton) is made from. Instead, it's a very silky, shiny material that feels very smooth and slippery. Made primarily of polyester satin, it has a texture that can cling to dry skin (as some other reviews have noted). I don't mind much because I use a cotton duvet cover. But it's not something you could use without a duvet cover. The slippery material combined with the soft filling gives it a jelly-like feel, which I imagine I wouldn't like in bedding. But with a good starched cotton duvet cover, it's actually very nice. Also, I've already washed the duvet twice (cold water, tumble dry low) and the filling stays fluffy and even. The duvet is quite thick (the website says 58 ounce fill for twins). I wouldn't call this blanket a summer weight. The stripe pattern is beautiful and makes the blanket look more elegant. Again, it's not that important to me because of the duvet cover. But it's nice and overall it looks very well made and I expect it to last a long time. Conclusion: This is a great duvet if you use it as a duvet insert. It's better than other duvets I've bought in this price range because they wrinkle and get lumpy. I would buy this again.

Cons
